Premier Lake Home Story
After teaming up with the Missouri Propane Education and Research Council for a build in 2019, Dave Leathers returned to the HomePro program for another special project. Located on property of an upscale golf club, his newest home is the epitome of modern, luxury lake living.
With the fairway just a stone’s throw from the back patio and access to the lake a short golf cart ride down the road, this home is prime real estate for homeowners who want to get the most from luxury lake-living. Leathers teamed up with Matthew L. Krantz Development to bring his vision to life. Matt Krantz and his team specialize in building quality crafted, distinctive homes throughout the Lake of the Ozarks area.
As the owner of Showcase Publishing at Lake of the Ozarks, Leathers has built over a dozen Inspiration Homes at the Lake, publicized them through his premier publications, and auctioned them off for a worthy cause. The charitable contributions from this project and his first HomePro build were donated to Share the Harvest.

Kitchen Range
This Wolf 36” range features an infrared griddle and allows for precise control temperature with four dual-stacked, sealed gas burners for higher highs and lower lows. These homeowners will enjoy quicker heat and more even cooking with the large capacity gas convection oven.
Generator
With a Kohler 20KW propane standby generator that powers on in seconds, this home will keep running as usual, even when storms leave everyone else in the dark. Unlike gasoline or diesel, propane doesn’t degrade over time, making it ideal for a standby fuel. Propane generators are quiet and reliable while adding home value by providing peace of mind for the owner.

Aesthetically, this 2,316 sq. ft. 3-bed, 3-bath home has an open concept design in the kitchen and great room. The flow of the home leads out to a central feature of the design: a covered deck. The 256 sq. ft. outside space will allow the homeowners to take full advantage of premiere lake living all year long.
A stunning view and open layout create an ideal environment for indoor and outdoor entertainment. Thankfully, the owners will be able to rely on the efficiency and consistency of a gas range for all their cooking needs, big or small. In the event of a power outage caused by Missouri weather, the functions of this home will continue with power provided by a propane standby generator. Having a secure and reliable back-up power option makes this home more than just a summer getaway spot. Whether it’s a second home or a full-time residence, the homeowners have security knowing they wont be left in the dark, even the harshest weather conditions.
